Spring and the City

My go-to outfit for this season is usually some kind of cute Spring dress, simply because I never have enough time to put together complicated outfits. Lately however I have become obsessed with ruffled or pleated skirts. They are so easy to combine with simple tops and are so flirty and flattering. If you follow me on Instagram you have already seen some of the pictures I shot with the amazing Esther from @charmingbuns. Go follow her for out of this world adorableness, you will see what I mean. Esther and I met at the Scottish Rite Temple in Downtown Dallas and had lots of fun shooting this cute Spring outfit. The off the shoulder eyelet top looks way more expensive than it was and reminds me of a piece that you would find at a site like Revolve. The skirt is just perfection. I find that many pleated skirts tend to be too short on me since I am almost 5’8″ and love to wear heels but this one was the perfect length. If you wanna recreate my look, check out the details on the bottom of this post.

Details: Both top and skirt are from @forever21. I could not find a link to the top but it is stores right now. Find the skirt here. Cabby hat is from Windsorstore, find it here. Necklaces are by Sugarfix by Baublebar, find them here and my beloved name tag necklace is by Soufeeljewelry, find mine here. Heels are by Stuart Weitzmann, find them here.

Hope you enjoyed my little Spring outfit on a budget, let me know what your favorite thing about Spring is in the comments!

Love always,

Sarah Vanessa
