4th of July Lookbook

This year we decided to spend the long weekend leading up to the 4th of July celebrations in the beautiful beach city of San Clemente. We all had an amazing time. Gorgeous sunshine all weekend long and nothing but delicious food, good vibes and pure relaxation.

We had brunch at our favorite Crêperie “La Galette” overlooking the Pacific Ocean, spent some quality time on the beach and watched the surfers catch the best waves from the “Fisherman’s Restaurant & Bar”. My brunch outfit is proof that I am a professional bargain shopper. If I buy trend items like ruffle dresses or pom pom sandals I always try to find a great deal, since I probably won’t wear them again next season. My entire outfit cost under 80$ and I loved it.

I found the light blue pin stripe dress with ruffle sleeves in a small boutique I had never heard of called “Dtla”, the brand is called “symphony” and I got the dress on sale for 28$. My pom pom sandals that I absolutely adore are from Target, you can find them here. Make sure to buy a whole size smaller as they run large. My blush pink crossbody bag is also from Target. Since I have been trying to not buy any leather goods anymore, I had way more luck finding cute Vegan styles in cheaper brands or even at Target.

After our amazing brunch including Nutella Crêpes and Pear Pomegranate Salad, we headed down to the beach to have some fun in the sun with the little one. I changed into my favorite white shorts from Angl that I wear all the time and a light blue linen blouse from Zara. Since I knew we would do some shopping and go for drinks later, I thought this was the perfect beach outfit.

At night we headed to a private 4th of July garden party and I wore a silk maxi dress by emploi, I just love the blue flower print.

I hope you have a fantastic 4th of July with your family and friends, and if you don’t celebrate Independence Day, that you still enjoyed my little lookbook.

Love always,

Sarah
